Huddersfield Town striker Bojan Radulovic has spoken about his transformation, plus an admission, as he discusses his struggles and renaissance in the English game. To be fair, things didn't look great during the 2024 close season either. This summer, Radulovic looks to have far more to look forward to with Town ahead of returning for pre-season work in high summer. When the Spain-born forward arrived from Finnish outfit HJK Helsinki at the start of the 2024 winter window, he was thrown headfirst into a Championship relegation fight. Fitness and form issues made the transition harder and following Town's demotion to League One, there was speculation that the club might elect to cut their losses and move him on. A groin injury suffered in pre-season ahead of 2024-25 soon left him behind the eight-ball in his quest to prove himself to then head coach Michael Duff. To top things off, he was also having difficulty in settling in West Yorkshire, away from friends and family. Admirably, Radulovic persevered, but still struggled for game time and spent the second half of 24-25 on loan at Dutch outfit Fortuna Sittard. It prompted fresh rumours last summer that he would be departing Town for good. Instead, he stayed put again and a renaissance in his fortunes arrived from mid-autumn onwards - even accounting for the fact that his 2025-26 season ended a few weeks early due to a collarbone injury. Radulovic told The Yorkshire Post: 'When I first came, I thought: 'Yes, this will will be good for me'. 'And then when we were relegated, I thought that probably I was not made for England because I wasn't enjoying playing football. 'I wasn't at my best and I was low in confidence. It wasn't my best season, of course. 'You lose faith and I thought England was not for me. 'But then when I moved to the Netherlands and came back for the 2025 pre-season, I think something changed. I don't know why, probably because I moved to the Netherlands and then came back again. 'Now I can say probably things are different or better. 'I had been thinking (before): 'yes, my chapter here probably is over'. But in football, you never know. Things might change quickly. In my case, I still had a contract here. 'So I stayed. And as we are now, the things have changed and I'm really happy with the way it's going now.' Now 26 and buoyed by his performances from last October onwards, Radulovic looks a player who is finally at home in the English game at last. He admits that his spell in the Netherlands with Fortuna might just have helped him in that regard. The frontman, who found the net nine times for Town in 2025-26 and is contracted until next summer, continued: 'The game style of probably what most of the teams played (in the Eredivisie) was different (to England). 'It's more like they want to have the ball (more). It's probably not that much running and not as direct and is probably with less physicality as well. 'But the team I was playing for, it was kind of English football at some times because we liked to play tight football, with duels and aerial and long balls and running a lot. 'Of course, with a different coach, you also learn from everyone and everything; like experiences in your life. So that probably helped me because
